Located at 146-148 Charles Street in central Launceston, Tassie Dhaba in Town brings the rich tradition of Indian cuisine to the local community. Our journey began in 2021 in Beaconsfield, where Tassie Dhaba quickly earned a reputation for serving some of the best Indian food in Northern Tasmania. Now, with the same passion and authentic recipes, we’re proud to continue that legacy here in Launceston.

Led by Roop Navdeep Singh and original co-founder and head chef Mantek Singh, our restaurant blends authentic flavours with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every dish is prepared with traditional Indian spices, fresh ingredients, and a deep respect for the recipes passed down through generations.
